Lock's Full Groom
- A basic health check (identifying health problems which owners otherwise miss)
- Bathed twice with appropriate coat/skin shampoo
- Coat conditioning spray
- Hand drying with a blast dryer finish dryer or brush dryer. Whatever the dog will accept. (No cage dryers used)
- A brush and comb out
- A clip, scissor, thin or hand strip - based on consent/no force grooming.
- Scissoring as necessary (face, tail and paws) - as above.
- A de-shed on double coated breeds.
- Anal gland expression (if required)
- Nail trims and an ear clean (plucked if necessary) are complementary
- All dogs are treated as individuals with varying needs, therefore I do not have price lists. Prices will be discussed on initial assessment.
Lock's Puppy Package
This package introduces your puppy to the grooming environment. It helps to get them accustomed to a grooming salon setting, where equipment that is utilised every day is run in the background. This practice will allow your puppy to get used to the environment at their own pace.
- £60 for 4 x 45minute sessions i.e £15 per session.
- Puppy initiation to the salon and equipment
- Your puppy being bathed with puppy shampoo
- Introduction to salon drying
- Brushes and being brushed
- Nail clipping
- Pad trim
- Ear cleaning
- Eye cleaning
- Sanitary trim
If there are elements to the puppy groom that the dog is still struggling with after the 4 sessions, additional sessions will be discussed with the owner. A dog will not go forward to a full groom until I'm satisfied it is "groom ready" with enough desensitisation.
Puppies should see a groomer after they’ve had their second set of vaccinations, please wait 7 days after the vaccination for your puppy to become safe to visit the salon.
Lock's Paws and Nails
A paw package is £20 and includes:-
- Health check
- Nail clip, grind or use of a scratchboard
- Nail file
- Paw mat removal
- Paw trim over and under
- Paw wax
